Howard E. Katzman MD, FACS
Dr. Katzman received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1964. He completed residency training in general and vascular surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital University of Miami Department of Surgery in 1971, and joined the Surgical Group of Miami at that time. Dr. Katzman is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a Member of the Society of Vascular Surgery and a Fellow of the Clinical Society of Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Katzman has been a lead investigator and participant in several clinical research efforts related to the development of vascular graft materials used in a variety of vascular surgery applications. He is a founder and board member of the Vascular Access Society of the Americas, past President of the Florida Vascular Society, and speaks at national and international vascular surgery programs. His major interests in vascular surgery are both open and endovascular repair procedures of the aorta and distal vessels and complex dialysis access reconstruction.
