Access to Library and Literature Search
Residents and faculty have 24/7 networked access from the Florida International University Library to a comprehensive electronic library with links to over 800 electronic journals and 100 medical textbooks and other web-based information sources. Reprints of journal articles can be requested from the library or via interlibrary loan with other hospital and medical school libraries throughout the United States. Instruction and classes are available from the library staff. These resources are reviewed for currency and appropriateness, including accuracy of the electronic links, by the library staff. Online access to UpToDate and MDConsult is available from all hospital computers.
In addition, Miami Vascular has its own on-site library of journals and other major medical publications.
